THE PUBLICATION / OUR STANDARDS

Editorial policy

Our job is to help people make something useful with AI. We publish within AI creative production and the closely related tools used to finish that work.

Claims need support

Use primary sources for product specifications, plan limits and terms. Mark unverified information and conflicts. Do not turn an advertised maximum, temporary offer or annualized monthly price into a universal promise.

Experience must be real

Do not invent tests, screenshots, customer quotations, ratings, credentials or reviewer identities. Clearly distinguish source-based research, vendor examples and our own documented tests. Codex-assisted production is described on the About page.

Comparisons must help the reader

Compare specific jobs and constraints. Include meaningful drawbacks and relevant products without affiliate programs. Ranked recommendations require evidence that supports the ordering. Avoid publishing numerous near-duplicate pages around small keyword variations.

Free tools and paid options

Include useful free software and free plans as complete options in their own right. Identify usage caps, paid-only features and trial conditions plainly. Suggest a paid tool when its additional capability addresses the task, and explain when a free option is enough. Affiliate availability must not determine the verdict or ranking.

Money and editorial decisions

Commercial links must be disclosed near the recommendation. A provider's payment does not buy a positive conclusion. We do not use false urgency, fabricated discounts or claims of official affiliation.

Updates and corrections

Check volatile product claims before publication and during scheduled reviews. Record the sources and the nature of changes. A new calendar year alone is not a reason to relabel an unchanged article as fresh. Correct material errors visibly and suspend a commercial link when its eligibility becomes unclear.
